Fourteen

I came across a friend today on facebook who's younger and was wearing a bunch of bright and fun colored outfits in all her pictures. It got me thinking about my own wardrobe, and although it's quite trendy if I may say so myself, I'm not going to be able to wear these types of clothes well into my 20's. One day very soon I'm going to be buying work attire and pants suits, which is exciting in one realm, but it's also a bit sad.
I found myself mourning my highschool years and even childhood where I could experiment with all those crazy colors and paint my nails outrageously all in the name of being young, but now I feel weird even considering getting my lip pierced because it's not necessarily the most professional route for me to choose. So today I decided to embrace my past and have some fun.
I went into my pile of clothes and found an old turquoise tube top, which ties in the back and I threw on a tank-top under it with a mustard colored beaded necklace and a turquise bracelet.
I might look like I'm fourteen, but for today I'm okay with that.
