This one Goes out to You

I went miniature golfing the other day when I heard a familiar, rather annoying voice from the past blabber behind me. I turned to find that it was one of my old, not such a good friend from high school with what appeared to be an 'Abercrombie Gangsta' dude-greasy spiked hair, big clubbin' looking glasses, and really tan skin, paired with khaki Abercrombie cargos and sandals. It was weird.

Anyways, my point is that here was a girl that used to be apart of my life-a girl I shared clothes and secrets with, and now I was pretending not to notice her by becoming unnaturally immersed in my golfing game.

It's hard to imagine that the friends that you have now may not always be in your life. For me, I've found some really great friends that I believe in my heart will be lasting friendships-here comes your shoutouts D, -A & of course Sista Love. I've had some friends surprise me and really disappoint me though, too. I'm talking friends that until last year, I couldn't have imagined living without. That's the thing though, as we grow up, mature, and enter new phases in our life, people begin to weave in and out, but I'm learning it's the one's that stick by you, regardless of distance or circumstances, that are really worth it.
Thanks for sticking by me,
J
