The Time Has Finally Come
Yes, it's true. I officially worked out for the first time this summer with my girl A. We walked for almost 2 hours and it felt ridiculously good. There's nothing like venting with your bff over a warm summer night walk, despite the pesky blister on got on my left foot. Let's call it a battle wound.
Today we're planning on doing yogalates...yoga+pilates. Genius! I'm suprisingly really excited and optimistic about this new undergoing I've implemented into my bleek summer. Today I poured a smaller bowl of cereal and had a smaller glass of juice. I've decided that I'm not going to restrict myself and cut out carbs and all that good stuff because I've done that before and I was hella cranky.
Instead, I'm simply taking the old-fashioned route: smaller portions, more exercise. I know it's only the second day and all, but I already feel really good.
The desire to change is important, but it's that commitment and excitement about the change that's gonna make all the difference.
Tacklin' the thighs,
J
