Things that make you go Hmmm...

So, I decided to write about this minor event in my life because I wanted to know everyone's (and by everyone's I of course mean the 3 people who read this) opinion. I'm curious.

The other day my boyfriend went to get his hair cut by his ex-girlfriend whom he dated for almost 3 years. This does not make me jealous, shockingly, because we are very much in love and I know in my otherwise insecure heart that he is completely over her and that ship has sailed. Plus, she makes him look all clean cut and handsome-who am I to stop that?
Anyways, she gives him her business card and writes on the back "20% of any color :)" and some other crap. She instructs him to give ME the card. Here is what I am thinking:
1.) That was really sweet of her because hair coloring is hella expensive.
2.) There's no WAY I am going to her to get my hair done. Ever. And let me tell you why:
->Even though it was a really nice gesture, and even though she has a boyfriend, and even though her and my boyfriend ended years ago, there is a woman ritual that I am all too familiar with and it's called Sizing Up. Meaning, the minute I walk in she will look me up and down, compare herself to me, listen to me talk, mimic me in her head, then when I leave she will talk about what a freak I am or find some really ridiculous flaw to make herself feel better.
It's not a Her thing, it's an almost-every-ex-girlfriend thing. I put myself in her shoes and if one of my exes new beaus came in I would automatically size her up without even meaning to!
Maybe she's just really nice, generous, & wants to innocently meet me. But even as I type that I can't honestly believe it because months ago we were at a wedding and SHE WAS THERE (to do everyone's hair, of course) and did she come up to introduce herself? No. So why now?
It makes me uneasy and just plain suspicious.
